ADVd12 is an alternative and better firmware for Wanhao Duplicator 12-230 printers. It is based on the latest version of Marlin (2.1).

¶ Where to Start?
If you arrive here for the first time, you probably want to flash ADVd12 on your printer. Before, be sure that your printer is compatible with ADVd12.
¶ Features
This is a preliminary version of ADVd12 and all the planned features are not yet implemented. Support the project on Patreon to help me implement these features.

- Based on Marlin 2.1
- Fix bugs in the existing stock firmware such as Y offsets during prints
- Complete reimplementation of the graphical interface and of the panels
- Panels to Load and Unload filaments
- Preheating with 5 sets of temperatures and fan speeds
- Move and Homing panel with smooth movements. You can keep the button pressed and release it to stop the movement.
- Easy to use Z-height wizard to determine the offset between the tip of the nozzle and the trigger point of the BLTouch.
- Rough and Automatic (when using a BLTouch) Bed leveling.
- Temperature graph when heating.

- Support of other mainboards (MKS Robin Nano versions 3.0 and 3.1)
- BLTouch testing to check the behavior and wiring of your BLTouch (or its clone)
- Extruder tuning.
- PID Tuning.
- Vibrations Testing.
- X Shaping Tuning.
- Skew Tuning.
- Linear Advance Tuning.
- Motors Settings (steps per unit, ...)
- Sensor Settings.
- LCD Settings including dimming after a configurable amount of time.
- Filement Runout Settings.
- Print Statistics.
- I/O panel that displays the state of the various GPIOs and helps troubleshooting the printer.
¶ Not currently planned
- Wi-Fi module support. I find the module to be unreliable and it takes a lot of memory. I may change my mind if this support is requested and if I find a way to make it reliable.
¶ Compatible printers
ADVd12 is compatible with Wanhao D12-230 printers that have a version 1.2 or 1.3 MKS Robin Nano mainboard. If your D12-230 printer has another version of the mainboard, please contact me directly on ADVfirmwares Community.
